Overview

The Captor 8x42 ED Waterproof Binocular presents clear and crisp high-contrast views with accurate color representation across a distortion-free wide field of view. This is accomplished through the use of extra low-dispersion (ED) glass, fully multi-coated optics, and BAK4 prisms to correct chromatic and spherical aberrations and reduce internal light diffraction while improving light transmission. Add to these performance features a short 6.56' close focus distance and a wide 7.5° angle of view, users are presented with an immersive observational experience.

Complementing the optical performance is a housing that is built for a lifetime of rugged outdoor use. The chassis is made of a lightweight and durable magnesium alloy with a rubberized armor that protects against impacts while providing a slip-resistant grip. The optical tubes are nitrogen-filled for fog-proof performance and O-ring sealed to make the binocular submersible to as much as 3.3'. A protective external lens coating helps to repel dust, water, and oil to ensure obstruction-free viewing. For longer glassing sessions, this binocular is tripod mountable with an optional adapter. The combination of optics and construction details make the Level ED an ideal addition to your kit - whether you're in the woods, on the range, at the stadium, or sightseeing around town.
