Owlset HEIM ES X-Nano XPD Mini Thermal Sight (Wi-Fi)
The Owlset HEIM ES X-Nano XPD is an ultra-compact, featherweight thermal weapon sight engineered for dynamic nighttime search, defensive shooting, and tactical wargame applications. Weighing just 123 grams (4.34 oz), this miniature thermal optic is versatile enough to mount on tactical pistols or sit as a top-mounted piggyback sight above an AR-15 LPVO for seamless 1x close-quarters thermal acquisition. Driven by a 256×192, 12 μm thermal sensor with a rapid 50 Hz refresh rate and a 19 mm objective lens, it delivers sharp thermal signatures directly onto an intuitive 1.4-inch touchscreen display. Built to withstand 1000 G of shock and rated IP66 for all-weather durability, the X-Nano provides rapid target engagement in total darkness and obscured environments.
Key Features
- Ultra-Light 123g Footprint: Weighs only 123 g (4.34 oz), making it exceptionally nimble for handgun slides or 12 o’clock piggyback mounting over LPVO rifle setups without throwing off firearm balance.
- High-Efficiency Thermal Core: 256×192 thermal resolution paired with a fine 12 μm pixel pitch delivers crisp detail for clear recognition of heat signatures through darkness, fog, and brush.
- Fluid 50 Hz Refresh Rate: Provides real-time, stutter-free viewing without motion blur—crucial when tracking fast-moving game or sweeping open sectors.
- Real-Time Hot Spot Tracking: Automatically flags and follows the highest thermal source in the frame to speed up target identification and engagement under pressure.
- 1.4-Inch Touchscreen Interface: Bright, responsive micro touchscreen simplifies setting changes, zeroing, and mode adjustments directly on the unit.
- 6 Multi-Condition Color Palettes: Six selectable pseudo-color modes optimize target contrast across varying ambient temperatures and background foliage.
- 1000 G Shock & IP66 Sealed: Engineered for heavy recoil resilience up to 1000 G and sealed against heavy rain, dust, and mud.
- On-Board Wi-Fi Integration: Integrated Wi-Fi module with status indicators and quick-toggle menu controls allows fast connection to external viewing devices.
