For users intending to primarily utilize the Fortmeier bipod in the 12 o'clock (top-mounted) position, we recommend the dedicated 12:00 Bipod model, which is supplied without the rapid tension adjustment lever. The tension for this configuration should be preset using a hex wrench located on the top of the bridge.
While this 12:00 Bipod bridge can also be employed in the 6 o'clock (bottom-mounted) position, it will operate without the quick tension adjustment functionality in this orientation.
