When it comes to thermal optics, four important factors must be considered: thermal sensor resolution, display quality, sensor temperature sensitivity (NETD), and front lens size. The new Hikmicro Thunder 2.0 series excels in all these areas, providing hunters with the best conditions for successful hunts, even after dark.
Thanks to a thermal detector with up to 640x512 resolution, a 1024x768 OLED display, and an F1.0 lens, the new Thunder 2.0 makes it easy to spot wildlife even in pitch darkness. The newly developed thermal sensor boasts an incredibly low NETD value of <20mK, meaning even the minutest details of objects and backgrounds can be clearly captured, even in challenging weather conditions. The device's detection range extends up to 2600m (depending on the series model).
The exterior of the device features a completely new and intuitive design that, among other things, makes it easier to use with gloves. The new focus knob design replaces the older focus ring from previous models, improving user ergonomics. Thanks to its lightweight and compact magnesium alloy housing, the Thunder 2.0 is both light and durable.
