Dewey cleaning rods are (with a few exceptions) equipped with a resistant nylon coating to protect all parts of the weapon, especially the most valuable barrels, from scratches during the cleaning process.

A big plus of the Dewey cleaning rods is the handle with multiple ball bearings, which enables the cleaning tools to follow the swirl of the barrel exactly as if by itself. Inadvertent counter-rotation is impossible and the strong relief of the wrist is a welcome side effect! This means that longer cleaning duties do not become a burden.

A core made of spring steel provides the necessary stability and flexibility and can withstand great pressure without any problems.

The thread mount of the cleaning rod and the supplied tip are made of aluminum. For this reason, you can use this cleaning rod for copper removal work, since copper solvents would "erode" the brass tip that is included with other cleaning rods. Aluminum, on the other hand, is resistant to these solvents.

To use VFG felts, you need the DM30A adapter .
