L.E. Wilson .308 Winchester Stainless Steel Bushing Full-Length Die Set

Improve your reloading skills with this complete, improved die and gauge set from L.E. Wilson. This kit provides the precise handloader with an additional advantage in producing the most consistent and accurate finished ammunition. It includes a stainless steel bushing full-length sizing die, a micrometer "hand-die" style seater, and a case length headspace gauge for the .308 Winchester cartridge.

Important Note: Bushings are sold separately. You must purchase the correct size bushings for your specific brass.

Component Overview & Features:

1. Bushing Full-Length Sizing Die

This die resizes the case body back to SAAMI specifications while allowing you to precisely control the neck tension with interchangeable bushings. This method avoids overworking the brass and promotes better neck concentricity. It includes an adjustable depth de-capping pin and a spare.

• Threads: Standard 7/8"-14 for use in most common reloading presses.
• Design: Does not use an expander ball, which helps improve case neck alignment.

2. Micrometer Seater Die (Hand-Die Style)

This precision seater die holds the case and bullet in perfect alignment as the bullet is seated. The micrometer top allows for incredibly precise and repeatable adjustments to the seating depth in .001" increments.

• Press Compatibility: This is a "hand-die" and is designed to be used with an Arbor Press or a mallet. It is NOT for use in a conventional 7/8"-14 reloading press.

3. Case Length Headspace Gauge

This one-piece, non-adjustable cylinder gauge is a critical tool for ensuring safety and consistency. It allows you to compare your resized cases and finished cartridges against SAAMI minimum chamber dimensions, verifying that your case headspace and overall length are within specification.
