In contrast to the exclusive use of cleaning felts or cloths, you can reliably reach the field-pull edges inside the barrel with brushes.

Together with an effective cleaning agent (such as "Shooters Choice") they are also suitable for removing stubborn tombac residues from the barrel.

The copper-colored bronze brushes differ not only in color from brass brushes, which experts believe should not be used to clean the barrel, but also because of their better durability and abrasion resistance.

Bronze brushes are the ideal compromise between cleaning effect and material protection.

Dewey brushes are designed so that there are no sharp edges that could damage the barrel. When cleaning, they are pushed through the barrel in one movement and then, after all bristles have completely straightened up in front of the muzzle, pulled back in one movement (please do not scrub back and forth in the barrel).

Rule of thumb: there should be a back and forth movement for each shot taken.
