LOCTITE® (LOCTTLF) 680 is a green, high-strength, anaerobic-curing retaining compound designed for the assembly and attachment of cylindrical fitting parts. It is particularly ideal for bonding slip-fitted components where low viscosity is required. This product reliably prevents loosening and leakage that can result from shock and vibration. It provides a robust curing performance on a wide variety of materials, including both active metals (like mild steel) and passive substrates (like stainless steel and plated surfaces). LOCTITE® 680 also tolerates minor surface contamination from oils, eliminating the need for a primer or cleaner in many applications.
